LIFTWELL

Terms of use

Last updated: 22 October 2026

These terms apply to the Liftwell app. Liftwell is a project by Ivano Lu, a private individual (contact: liftwellnow@gmail.com). The standard license of Apple for apps from the App Store also applies.

What Liftwell is

Liftwell builds a training plan for weights and running and adapts it to what you log. It is a training tool: it is not a medical device and gives no medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

Your health comes first

  • Physical exercise carries risks. You train at your own risk and stay responsible for how you train: loads, technique, rest and whether you train at all on a given day.
  • If you have a health condition, are pregnant, take medication that affects exercise, or have not trained for a long time, talk to your doctor before you start.
  • Stop if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath beyond the normal effort. With pain or injuries, see a doctor or a physiotherapist: what the app does with them (leaving out exercises) is not a treatment.
  • Suggested loads and runs are estimates from what you log. They are not a guarantee of safety or of results.

Your account

You must be at least 16. Keep your access details to yourself. You can delete your account and data at any time in the app (Profile → Delete account).

Liftwell Plus

Liftwell Plus is a subscription sold by Apple. Price, free trial, automatic renewal, cancellation and refunds follow the App Store rules: you cancel in your Apple ID settings, at least 24 hours before the renewal. What Plus includes is described in the app before you subscribe.

What is not allowed

Using the app against the law, trying to access other people's data, or copying and reselling the content of the app (texts, plans, animations).

Liability

Liftwell is offered as it is. Within what the law allows, Ivano Lu is not liable for injuries or damage from training done with the app, nor for interruptions of the service. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.

Changes and law

If these terms change, the date at the top changes and important changes are announced in the app. Italian law applies, without taking away the protection that the law of your country gives you as a consumer.
